It is something we have all seen from time to time – a white transit van parked by the side of the road covered in dirt. Such uncleanly vehicles are usually adorned with messages such as “Clean Me” or a smiley face. Sometimes, however, they can be a little more adventurous. read more »

Slough Named the Likeliest Place for a Crash

When we turn on our television screens it is not unusual to be greeted by adverts that try to sell us everything from the latest computer game to a brand new sofa.

But whilst physical objects like this can be sold simply by displaying the item for all to see, other products on the market might be a little more difficult. read more »

Explaining Crazy Car Modifications to your Insurance Company

Posted in Amusing on December 5th, 2009 by admin – Be the first to comment

How would you best describe the modifications of some of the cars below to your car insurance provider.

You have to declare any modifications you make to your car insurance company. They like standard cars and any modifications can increase your insurance premiums. I imagine the call to the insurance call centre to get a quote would have made for an interesting conversation.

Is your VW Beetle standard Mr Jones? Well actually i have converted it from a beetle to a turtle! A what..a turtle? Yes a turtle.

And well what can you say about this one except why?

Have you seen any van art

Posted in Amusing on December 4th, 2009 by admin – Be the first to comment

I don’t think you are ever going to find his work featuring at the Tate Modern nor selling for £30 million but meet Ben Long. His canvas is the backs of extremely dirt lorries. With the state of the roads and what with the weather being like it is I don’t think he is short of canvases. Using only the tip of his finger and the accumulated dirt he creates his masterpieces in two to three hours.

Ben, who does the majority of his work at New Covent Garden Market in London then likes to travel the country with the driver to see the public’s reaction as the vehicles go about making their regular deliveries.

He tries to persuade the driver of the vehicle to leave his “art” in place although I am not sure what happens if the driver has to get on with his deliveries halfway through his creation.

We think it sure beats the usual “clean me” and “I wish my wife was this dirty”

How do you know if a dog is gay?

Posted in Amusing on November 5th, 2009 by admin – Be the first to comment

So the question we are exploring is how do know if a dog is gay. Does it tell you? One bark for hetro, two for homosexual and three for bisexual. I guess the fact the dog is humping another male dog is slight giveaway. Hmmm i think we will leave that one their.

So this leads (get it) us onto a missing pet / wanted poster often seen flapping in the wind attached to trees and lamp posts as their loving owner searches high and low.

Well we recently spotted this one. Somebody is obviously missing a randy mutt and it sounds like the guy that found it (and his dog) wants the owner found as soon as.
